Week #22 – Thanksgiving Update

I wanted to take a moment and say THANK YOU to all of you who have been a huge blessing to development of this project.  This dream started in January of 2020 when I walked out of my corporate office and God gave me a Vision of a motorsports facility in Lorain County where we could serve the community with fun, excitement, entertainment, employment, and most importantly – the youth in our area.

It has certainly been a journey to say the least, but I am grateful for the lessons learned, the people who have played a part in getting things moved along this far, the City of Lorain, and Lorain County.

We have been receiving so many great comments and thoughts from the local community and racing community across the globe.  Along with the comments, we have been asked many questions.

The questions have been around the classes at the competition track, the rental garages, the eSports Arena/SIM Center, Rental Leagues, RC Track and Hobby Shop, and many more.  We commit to tackling most of this information in early 2025.  There are a lot of moving parts that need to get finalized as we want the information to be pure.  One thing we can share is about the Competition Track.

Once the weather breaks, our contractor will be finishing the FIA Karting required curbing (Kerbing). We anticipate that process to take about 2 weeks to frame, pour, cure, and paint.  Once this is complete we will open for practice.  We will be running a condensed schedule with 8-10 races for our Inaugural Club Championship in 2025.

Please stay tuned to this blog channel and subscribe at www.lorainkartplex.com to be included in all the updates.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
